A Special Update from Lawrence Dallaglio
I am writing to let you know that after eight years as Chairman of Dallaglio Rugby Works Matthew Key has decided to step down and we are now in the process of looking for a new Chairperson.
I would personally like to thank Matthew for everything he has done over a monumental eight years for the charity. We would certainly not be in the strong position we are today without his steady hand and strategic foresight. We have enjoyed an extremely productive working relationship and I wish him all the best whatever he decides to do.
It is now time for the next chapter of our development! We can see light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the uncertainty that the pandemic has unavoidably brought. The environment we operate in is now showing significant signs of stabilisation which will once again enable us to maximise the impact we have with the young people we work with.
The organisation has a very strong foundation and is poised to go from strength to strength as we look for a suitable replacement to take us to our next phase. We have opened the application process for the role of Chairperson and are also seeking a new Trustee. If you would like to find out more about the roles you can view this on our Join Our Squad page. I believe it is a fantastic time to step onto the Board of Trustees for Dallaglio RugbyWorks, our charity which our society so badly needs. I am more excited than ever about our future.
I want to finish by saying thank you once again to Matthew for the incredible support he has given to both myself and organisation over the past eight years.
Lawrence
